John Conlon LL B (Hons) – Partner

John received his Law Degree from Birmingham University, was articled to a Leeds City firm and was appointed as a Solicitor in 1977.

He spent 8 years as assistant to the Dock Solicitor of Liverpool Port Authority, where he specialised in commercial leasing with a particular slant toward industrial premises, commercial litigation (marine aspect) and industrial tribunal casework.

John also had special authority for dealing with all legal aspects of work relating to the Liverpool Pilotage Authority and took sole charge of the Port Authority’s conveyancing requirements in relation to the disposal of the South Docks to the Merseyside Development Corporation.

John joined the Halsalls team in 1986 and was initially based at our Birkenhead Office before moving to Thingwall in 1989. He has developed and tailored his practice to provide a specialist service in Conveyancing, Retail Leasing, Wills, Trusts and Probate, Powers of Attorney and acting as a Deputy Receiver for the Court of Protection.
